Acceptable use & content policy

Last updated June 23, 2026

Moto Memo is a logbook for tracking and sharing vehicle builds and maintenance. To keep it useful and safe for everyone, the content you upload — photos, captions, notes, and anything you make public — must follow these rules.

Prohibited content

You may not upload, post, or share:

  • Sexual or explicit content, nudity, or pornographic material.
  • Any sexual content involving minors (CSAM). This is strictly forbidden, removed immediately, and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
  • Graphic violence, gore, or content promoting self-harm.
  • Illegal content or content that facilitates illegal activity.
  • Harassment, hate speech, threats, or content that targets or demeans people.
  • Other people's private information (faces, plates, addresses, documents) shared without their consent.
  • Content that infringes intellectual property — only upload images you own or have permission to use.
  • Spam, malware, or attempts to abuse the platform.

Sharing publicly

Most of your data is private to you by default. When you choose to make a vehicle, garage, or photo public — on a build sheet, garage profile, or the Explore directory — you are responsible for ensuring it follows this policy and that you have the right to share it.

How we moderate

We use a layered approach:

  • Automated screening. Every uploaded image is checked by an automated moderation service before it is stored. Images that are flagged are rejected.
  • Community reporting. Anyone can report a public page using the Report link at the bottom of any build sheet or garage profile.
  • Review & action. Reported content is reviewed, and we may unpublish or remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

Reporting a problem

Found something that breaks these rules? Use the Report link at the bottom of the public page, or reach out via our Instagram. For copyright or legal concerns, include the specific page and the reason.

Enforcement

We may remove or unpublish content, and limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this policy — with or without notice, depending on severity. Unlawful content, especially CSAM, is reported to the appropriate authorities.

We may update this policy as Moto Memo grows; material changes will be reflected by the date above. Questions? Send us a note.
